Staying with a green theme in honor of St. Patty's day I'm still paying with the Crazy Birds (CMS212), Crazy Things (CMS237) and the Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz. I stamped the birds with Ranger Archival black ink. I colored the birds with the black soot, antique linen and peeled paint crayons. I blended the crayons with water. I find that misting the watercolor paper first helps them blend beautifully. I used the same colors on the hat and tie. Then I added some Spectrum Noir Green sparkle pen to the hat and tie. I cut the birds out with the Sizzix Thinlits 660954 and the hat and tie with 660953. No fussy cutting required. I layered the bird on a piece of green paper from my stash. I used the Tim Holtz Alteration's die "mixed media" on the green paper and then placed a piece of paper behind it. There are four dies in this set- the diamonds, dots, chicken wire and then a circular pattern I can't really describe. If you like mixed media I would highly suggest adding this die to your collection. I placed all of the layers on a card. Then I used a Studio G Stamp to stamp "Pinch me" and punched it out. I inked it with some Tea dye ink and then popped it on the card. I hope you like the card. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHGK_F_3MtLXeIEnXlKVf2dejlY5KtP2O3mpZ7wiJHwr_MGXLKNUvYjEv20RckQfBhsGas886k1fUxE_iqiMp4biIfj9geoigtC2kVvWsmjLVM2aYWvMFVYC0HvJw6i8y_sPpaCRSZDTo/s1600/Pinch+me+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHGK_F_3MtLXeIEnXlKVf2dejlY5KtP2O3mpZ7wiJHwr_MGXLKNUvYjEv20RckQfBhsGas886k1fUxE_iqiMp4biIfj9geoigtC2kVvWsmjLVM2aYWvMFVYC0HvJw6i8y_sPpaCRSZDTo/s320/Pinch+me+1.jpg" /></a></div>

Today I'm sharing a St. Patrick's Day card (I have another one for tomorrow)that I made with some new products. The Tim Holtz Distress Crayons! More Distress goodness--always welcome in my craft room. I stamped the bird (CMS 212), the hat and tie (CMS 237)with Ranger Archival ink. I colored the birds with the Antique Linen and Peeled Paint Crayons. They blend beautifully with some water. I cut them out using the Sizzix Framelits (660954 an 660953). . I used the Candy apple red to color his beak (yes I know a birds beak is normally orange/yellow, but this Bird needed some pop and he is a little crazy anyway!). I used a little of the green Spectrum Noir Green Sparkle pen on the hat. These have more intense color and more sparkle than the Wink of Stella pens. They work the same way. Just paint them on. After I cut out the bird, I layered it on a piece of Authentique St. Patty's day paper that I inked with Tea Dye Distress ink and then put that on a piece of Green Glitter paper. I put that on a card base and voila the front is done! I cut a strip of the Authentique paper and stamped "Happy St. Patrick's day" on the inside. I hope you get the chance to try these distress crayons. They are a lot of fun!
Stop by again later this week....I'm going to be having a give away!
Until then-- Happy Stamping! Sorry that I am a little late with this post. My card reader went belly up and I just didn't have time to get another one. Anyway, I hope that you are enjoying spring wherever you are- we had a little break from the winter of the Midwest and I actually had the windows open yesterday. I just hope we don't get another freeze and kill the tulips that are starting to pop up in the garden.
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the new BoBunny Secret Garden collection. I also used the Tim Holtz watering can. I layered the papers which I inked with Seedless Grapes Distress ink and then I cut out the can. The silver part of the can was done with the Ranger Foil paper which has adhesive on the back of it. Then I ran it through my Cuttlebug with a dotted embossing folder. The flowers are made using Tim Holtz tattered flowers die(#66027). This die is very different because you actually quill the flowers together. The quilling tool comes with the die and it makes a bunch of different sizes. They are a lot of fun to make. Then I added some sprigs of leaves from a Martha Stewart punch. I did notice that Tim Holtz had recently released a punch that is very similar and I believe McGill has one too. Then I cut the words using the Sizzix Thinlits set (#660223)also from the Tim Holtz Alterations collection. I have to say that if you like die cut words for cards these are the perfect size and you get 13 words with the set! Very versatile and it won't be one of those dies that just sits in your stash waiting to be rescued. Finally, I layered the words onto a label that had been run through the Minc Machine so I could get some shine to match the piece on the can. I think the label is from Heidi Swapp, but I can't be sure.
I hope you enjoy this little card. It is on it's way to a friend of mine overseas. Enjoy the springtime temperatures and Happy Stamping Pamela!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGMRgWtgVU5RINVxDtcydrnYuS7jeax0W5hYgaPUtZaFp4pcK8PO9Vp1rU_9PuArDN82TpIDL9dVcZRk5cJ-gQgeUWCkXsG-HY-c-FgDYGt9LPDM_ptM9Ch_sk1UnVItPLLrMdH1T8zgg/s1600/Watercan+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGMRgWtgVU5RINVxDtcydrnYuS7jeax0W5hYgaPUtZaFp4pcK8PO9Vp1rU_9PuArDN82TpIDL9dVcZRk5cJ-gQgeUWCkXsG-HY-c-FgDYGt9LPDM_ptM9Ch_sk1UnVItPLLrMdH1T8zgg/s320/Watercan+3.jpg" /></a></div>Papillionstamperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13750273020459718319noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4911058306766090807.post-34607068103195496062016-02-24T20:08:00.002-06:002016-02-24T20:08:27.367-06:00BoBunny Juliet CardHello Everyone, Today I'm sharing a card I made with the Bo Bunny Juliet Collection package. (Item #18133964)and items from the Juliet Noteworthy collection. I love the colors in this set. They can be very masculine or very feminine. I chose a gold background paper from the paper collection and inked that with Faded Jeans Distress ink. Then I cut a piece of navy from the collection and spritzed it with BoBunny mist - Sugar. Then I chose a frame and layer from the Noteworthy collection to layer on top. I added three roses , also from the Noteworthy package. I used a little banner from the Noteworthy package and layered that on the same blue I used on the second layer. Then I trimmed the letters from the sticker pakage in the paper collection pack and placed them on the banner. I added a ribbon at the top to ground the card. I hope you like it! Well, what a treat! We're going to be getting a little warmer this week. The snow should melt and that will have me dreaming of spring. So in celebration of the 40 degrees this week I thought I would share a box I covered using papers from the Cascading Fuchsia collection from Heartfelt Creations. I covered the box with the green paper. Then I die cut the oval Heartfelt creations oval. I covered the I fussy cut the elements from the papers and popped some of them to add dimension. I added beads to the edges and a punch from Martha Stewart to decorate the sides and top. Then I tied a bow from sheer organza ribbon and added some beads to the bow as well. This was just an old cigar box that I had around that I have turned into a little keepsake for someone. I lined the inside with the green paper as well.
I hope it gets a little warmer where you are as well , inspiring some of your own springtime creations.
Happy Stamping!

Today I am sharing a very quick and easy Valentine's card. This is a shaker card. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn to create the gumball machine. I stamped it once, cut it out and then stamped it again. It's colored with colored pencils. I used my fuse tool to create the pocket for the shaker elements. The paper is from Doodlebug designs.
I also used the new Spectrum Noir glitter pen over the silver pencil. In comparison to the Wink of Stella clear gel pen, the Spectrum Noir pen glitter is much more saturated. The brush is bigger than the Wink of Stella so for fine lines I would go to Wink of Stella, which is what I used on the black nob of the gumball machine. Inside, I just stamped Happy Valentines and punched three small hearts.
I hope you like it. This is a very fun stamp set. Happy Stamping! Pamela

I hope all of you are staying warm. We are anticipating a small heat wave of 40 degrees this week, it may be a good day to wash the salt from my car. Today I'm sharing the final card that I did using the January Kit from LaLa Land Crafts. I cut a piece of sage cardstock for the base. Then I added this pink brick paper from a paper stack I had from Hobby Lobby. It's from the Paper Studio and called Country Rose. I die cut the window from a Heartfelt creations die. It has shutters on the window, but I cut them off. I used pan pastels to color the skyline behind the window. I stamped Marci with Memento Ink on Spectrum Noir paper and colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. I used a Wink of Stella pen on the button on her hair bow. Then I grabbed some pink and burgundy scraps from my bin and using the Tim Holtz Butterfly Frenzy die, I cut a bunch of butterflies. I layered them placing the biggest at the bottom and the smaller at the top. I added some hand dyed ribbon, a Prima flower and a button from my button box and I was done. I think I'll do a few of these for Valentines Day. There is a cute saying that goes with Marci that says "Baking is love made visible". I can send them to my baking friends or tie them to a bag of goodies for others. I think this would be very cute on a tag as well. Maybe I'll try to whip one up (pun intended) and post it later this week. I hope all of you had a great week. Don't forget to leave a comment or share the link to the blog with your stamping friends! Happy Stamping - Pamela<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDMbtLX_ew-FYJYoj3TTDe3-5oH8jfHAYCZXAOUQs3kM-iYnbr8LsaHs1IjlliOmC8IFdjOR4zI76ylnrxBoPhCUyUe6XIz_uGHCsIOyRzaGGuEKjVq9GpQFz09sT9SpXmR7SOFQvgkSQ/s1600/Pink+Baking+Marcy+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDMbtLX_ew-FYJYoj3TTDe3-5oH8jfHAYCZXAOUQs3kM-iYnbr8LsaHs1IjlliOmC8IFdjOR4zI76ylnrxBoPhCUyUe6XIz_uGHCsIOyRzaGGuEKjVq9GpQFz09sT9SpXmR7SOFQvgkSQ/s320/Pink+Baking+Marcy+3.jpg" /></a></div>Papillionstamperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13750273020459718319noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4911058306766090807.post-50846502755169703452016-01-24T18:38:00.002-06:002016-01-31T15:59:09.362-06:00Bo Bunny Vintage cardHi Everyone , I'm back with another card I made using the Bo Bunny Juliet Collection pack (Item number 18133964). This card was so much fun to make, but so easy!. First, I layered a piece of the cardstock from the collection with postcards and script on it. Then I added a Bo Bunny small doily. The paper is called Juliet Tribute. . Next, I cut two images from Juliet Full House- I selected two of the playing cards. Next I stamped a bird from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Set with Espresso Distress Ink on the Gold Bo Bunny paper. I took a Bo Bunny laser cut Lace Tag and cut just the corners out to make my two corner embellishments. I added mushroom alcohol ink and broken china stickles to the Tim Holtz Heirloom rose. Then I died a piece of lace and danged one of the Muse tokens and Shield Charms from that. Another chance to dig around in the stash of goodies and create something. I think I'll use this as a Valentine for someone special! Have a great week.

Today I chose some 6X6 Authentique paper. The collection is called Carefree. I stamped Marci on some Spectrum Noir paper with Memento Ink and colored her with Spectrum Noir pens. I apologize for the shadow on this photo but it is very gloomy here today so the lighting is not the best. I cut a rectangle of the gingham paper and used the scallop corner chomper from WeR memory keepers to cut the corners of the card and the gingham. I cut a Lattice rectangle from Spellbinders out of grey wood grain paper from the pad as well. I also cut the whisk from the same paper. I added some flowers and an enamel dot from My Mind's eye. I stamped the sentiment with the same ink and then punched it with a Marvy scallop punch and layered it together. It makes me want to bake some cookies! I hope you find some time today to get in a little creative time. Have fun! Today I'd like to share a card that I made using LaLa Land Stamps January Kit. This kit featured "Marci" baking up some homemade goodness. It included dies to make aprons, a rolling pin and a whisk as well as sentiments. They also delivered a cute little miniature cutting board that I am looking forward to working into a cook book for a special friend. Today's post was created using WeR Memory Keepers 6X6 pad "Country Living". I cut four borders I received in a previous kit, inked them with Vintage Photo ink and adhered them to the sides of my 5X5 square. I colored Marci with watercolors. I love the Prima Marketing watercolor pencils for the skin tones. They made a set just for that. Then I have some other watercolor pencils that I used for the dress and hair band. They are really old....I don't know what brand they are - sorry! But try the Prima pencils you will love them! I stamped Marci on Watercolor paper with Archival ink so that the pencils would blend well. I also cut the Catalina Wreath from Memory box out of a sage colored paper in the pad and inked it with vintage photo ink. I cut the rolling pin,and the whisk out of scraps, added some twine and wooden buttons, added a little metal spoon. This little cutie is sure to spread some joy soon. The greatest part is that I used my "stash" for almost all of the project, except the new stamps and dies that I received in the kit. I hope you will be inspired to go to your "stash" and create some sweet cards as well. Have a great day and Happy Stamping! Can you believe it is halfway through January already? Where does the time go? Today I'm sharing another Graphic 45 card featuring "Gilded Lily" papers. I used the 8X8 papers to create an easel card. I let the papers do all of the work. I layered them after I inked the edges with Tea Dye ink from Tim Holtz. I added the die cuts on the corners from Heartfelt creations, some Prima Marketing Flowers and Voila! Graphic 45 goodness. The inside of the card was done using an image from the paper pack, some pearls using the Viva Décor Pearl pen, a Spellbinder's label die and a stamp from Hero Arts. The stamp was inked with Anna Griffin Hydrangea Blue ink. If you haven't tried an easel card, give it a try. They are simple and look fabulous. Later this week I'll be sharing my newest cards using the LaLa Land January Kit. I'd love it if you would leave a comment or link back to the blog. Until later--stay warm and Happy Stamping! Hello Friends! Today I'm sharing a gatefold card made with an Anna Griffin Gatefold embossing folder, the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die, an Anna Griffin die cut and the Gilded Lily 6X6 paper collection from Graphic 45. I also added some border Dazzles from paper wishes. I started by running some Anna Griffin pearl paper through the cuttlebug in the folder. Then I cut the two panels of gilded lily paper collection for the outside. I added the Dazzle border stickers (those are the thin lines on the front. I get them from Paper Wishes. On the inside I cut two small squares from the same page of paper that I used on the front and put those on a background. I cut gold paper on the Anna Griffin Die, then I cut the fabric with the Tattered Florals die. I added a gem to the center. I like to have a few cards around without anything stamped inside so I can grab it for a note or just stamp something later. I hope you enjoy the card! I have a little time so I thought I would share another Echo Park Winter Wishes card. The bear is a Silhouette download. They also have a die available to make the bear. I used a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch as well. Inside I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix labels, a WeR memory keepers corner punch. I embossed the sentiment in silver. I hope you like it.

When you wake up to temperatures with a minus in front of them; you become an authoritative source on the meaning of cold. In honor of today's frigid temperatures I made a card using Bo Bunny's Winter Wishes collection. I used my Silhouette to draw and cut the sentiment. Then I used a Wink of Stella pen to color the inside of the font.I edged the sentiment with weathered wood distress ink. The cup was an Echo Park download cut on the Silhouette. There is white glitter paper on both inside and outside of the card. It comes off a little pink in the photo. I added a snowflake punch and a glttered gem.
On the inside I used Tim Holtz's Sizzix labels and layered the papers. I fussy cut some of thecups from the paper to add ti the design.
I hope wherever you are you stay warm!

Today I'm sharing the last of the two cards that I made using the Spellbinder's Dies from my December Kit. I used the same layout as the inspiration that came with the kit. I just changed the embellishments and papers. These dies cut so nicely for small dies. The first one uses the Home Sweet Home Collection from a 6X6 paper pad. I added a Prima Leaf, a Prima Butterfly and a Prima jeweled embellishment as well. The green cardstock embellishment behind the jewels was also one of the Spellbinder dies. I layered the papers from Graphic 45 and again, I used one of the little panels from the paper kit as well. It says "Dear Friend" , I plan to put a Happy Birthday sentiment on the inside.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7NR1cGbDsN65UnbG2Wq-D3Oh8n2NOc-tBZdsYOEYfe8UXNgtH1jwHxRIxL5WQevEhDvBGll5JV_CfGUd8LQFFZqbOmJJRTQrsQLsJyryTsMwFJ0p5gBLT2WV5EMj5ncQN1N1lvOKnntU/s1600/IMG_0296.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7NR1cGbDsN65UnbG2Wq-D3Oh8n2NOc-tBZdsYOEYfe8UXNgtH1jwHxRIxL5WQevEhDvBGll5JV_CfGUd8LQFFZqbOmJJRTQrsQLsJyryTsMwFJ0p5gBLT2WV5EMj5ncQN1N1lvOKnntU/s400/IMG_0296.jpg" /></a></div>
The second card was done using the French Country Collection also from Graphic 45. Instead of ribbon I used a strip of the border paper and used the flourish from Spellbinders and a panel from the 6X6 paper package. It says Good Luck in French. It seems someone is always retiring or leaving at work and I'm caught without a card; so I'll hold on to this one so I'm not putting together a card at the last minute.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_k4l0DWCfj_V69hEnbxiUlZz-pKAH8CR0zvOyYtP2b22OmvftFs3DhpRCHSSqreoY9TSqOcCaPbMCGw2ob6cKdOz-R7xlYhywgY12sP1EOOGtadNq3QWxGLnhyphenhyphenyELBUHo_lKGpw79_r0/s1600/G45+French+Country.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_k4l0DWCfj_V69hEnbxiUlZz-pKAH8CR0zvOyYtP2b22OmvftFs3DhpRCHSSqreoY9TSqOcCaPbMCGw2ob6cKdOz-R7xlYhywgY12sP1EOOGtadNq3QWxGLnhyphenhyphenyELBUHo_lKGpw79_r0/s400/G45+French+Country.jpg" /></a></div>

There is actually very little stamping on this card. Inspired by the layout of my last card, I took the papers from the Tim Holtz Wallflower collection (12X12) and cut a small panel that had the bird and flower on it. Then added a panel of the green pattern. I inked both layers with Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Then I punched a tag (from Spellbinders) from another pattern and then stamped Hello Friend on a piece of cardstock that I had inked with Crushed Olive Distress Ink. The stamp is from the Simple Sayings pack. I added a flourish, one of Tim's metal flowers and some ribbon that I had misted with Fossilized Amber spray. The red cardstock was embossed with a Tim Holtz folder and then distressed with sand paper. I think the cardstock is Fired Brick distress cardstock. This simple layout made the card easy but I think it looks great. Have a great weekend! I love kits. I like the inspiration, trying new products, and having everything at my fingertips. The Spellbinders kits do not disappoint. You get the cards, envelopes, very high quality cardstock, adhesive (yes, I said adhesive!) embellishments, stamps and this kit came with 7 dies. The white card below is the one that I did first after the one on the idea card included in the kit. I decided to use one of my Anna Griffin embossing folders to emboss the white and a Stampin'UP! Stamp on the tag. I added a Prima flower. The flourish and tag were two of the dies included. The ribbon and leaf were leftover embellishments from the kits as well. I liked the simple layout so I replicated that on three other cards I'll post soon. I have to say, this was a generous kit. The dies are exclusive to the club. Happy Stamping! I hope this finds everyone well. Ready for some new resolutions? I have decided to get busy again using my "collection" of items, including kits, and quit allowing them to collect dust. I'm starting off this year with a kit I received from LaLaLand Crafts. These kits are great! Depending on which option you choose you get stamps, dies and the items to complete projects. I hope you will join me this year and dust off some of your "collection" and put them to good use!Papillionstamperhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13750273020459718319noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4911058306766090807.post-12626641317184312342015-01-10T23:45:00.000-06:002015-01-10T23:45:10.004-06:00Day 2 of CHAHello Stamping Friends,
Today was a say of inspiration, admiration and exhaustion here at CHA. The day flew by! We visited a lot of great booths today...and I think we picked some great products to take back to the store in Gretna. I wanted to share a link to a designer from Prima today. She is a big inspiration to me. I hope that the new mixed media club at Scrappin Studio will be successful and if it is then she is a big part of the inspiration going into the class samples. You can view her blog here: www.tworzysko.blogspot.com. Stay tuned for more Prima goodies and inspiration from CHA. Sorry I could not post my pictures..but my camera gave out right in the middle of the day!
Happy Stamping!

Today, I am truly blessed to be in sunny California for the annual Craft and Hobby Association Convention. Sooooooo inspiring! Today I took a class from the fabulous Dina Wakely. I'm sharing a picture of a page of the mixed media journal that we created. I'll be starting a mixed media club at the Stampin'Studio in Gretna Nebraska. Make sure you like them on Facebook!
Here is a photo of the page, I can't wait to experiment more with the paints and tools we got in the class and post those as well.
Happy creating!

Well I think I have the blog issue resolved. I had to take down all of the Feb posts, so I apologize. Here are some things that I did with some Fancy Pants Products recently. A cute little card box made out of corrugated paper that has 5 cards<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3fMADvy3PBs4tunaIrXCNBAO1EG9PFEd2v7Y64rue4qF6wM9HCXxXGUikuFsXPlpHo3Nres25lyktPcnSOSQC9WS7sfAd7yIcdM1T6Avta2_iJef2WpofHLA1qJqsvOKs0RJe6BKKYNg/s1600/Box+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3fMADvy3PBs4tunaIrXCNBAO1EG9PFEd2v7Y64rue4qF6wM9HCXxXGUikuFsXPlpHo3Nres25lyktPcnSOSQC9WS7sfAd7yIcdM1T6Avta2_iJef2WpofHLA1qJqsvOKs0RJe6BKKYNg/s320/Box+2.JPG" /></a></div>
Next I have the photos of the cards for inside the box. I tried to make them a little generic so that you can give them to a boy or girl. These all use the Fancy Pants collection called Collecting Memories, a Stamp set from Jillibean soup, a die from Memory Box and a wood embellishment from Studio Calico. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcDRa2oS-uCX0c98anzLTQMY2wWwhCyEMTHzQ6fiTbANbkLbKajMWa33ZntzJZp6RtxhlpQ-iM5v5qvrm17UkWCPkGhQfTljpu9sKNfIzefINLle5TVAeohB8AJd1CUpPYcOc69pzMRFk/s1600/pennant+card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcDRa2oS-uCX0c98anzLTQMY2wWwhCyEMTHzQ6fiTbANbkLbKajMWa33ZntzJZp6RtxhlpQ-iM5v5qvrm17UkWCPkGhQfTljpu9sKNfIzefINLle5TVAeohB8AJd1CUpPYcOc69pzMRFk/s320/pennant+card.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJxdn34D0NoQZOyvEOOWTYmV6EB9bevXFb9tJn9yhFqnlUot9urUPP-PfjDk4izX3a2tdzFIO6J6t9JAEn5-BOX0prqnlffHSpsIqlE5pWdasQbAL4Zb8oqDKUFxg29bmRueBEWsie4M/s1600/typewrite+card+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJxdn34D0NoQZOyvEOOWTYmV6EB9bevXFb9tJn9yhFqnlUot9urUPP-PfjDk4izX3a2tdzFIO6J6t9JAEn5-BOX0prqnlffHSpsIqlE5pWdasQbAL4Zb8oqDKUFxg29bmRueBEWsie4M/s320/typewrite+card+1.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNCYQDMPGPYWWHGbP5aECLO_pHhAYZ6QJyaoVrBX2sFrNWj1810jVG4UbiHZ1UeHaPFvCQGTWDbIfjoKKCtJ2JNY3JU9AFxrZzLTX7M1wH2LbFOLk94gxJkeDhb4y89DsFe-GEFB7E0og/s1600/window+box+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNCYQDMPGPYWWHGbP5aECLO_pHhAYZ6QJyaoVrBX2sFrNWj1810jVG4UbiHZ1UeHaPFvCQGTWDbIfjoKKCtJ2JNY3JU9AFxrZzLTX7M1wH2LbFOLk94gxJkeDhb4y89DsFe-GEFB7E0og/s320/window+box+3.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxqVbTfYYZEsnspqSdXter__W82nTdZBSvMUxFHGAuizd3HC-8qbHY5UusriQSFCUk3LeWdxKR9wUasICYZ7lQiaGmeZCAJTkcr5fflrzsXDD_S2AfhjJwQw9O13kbEko_HMZqVOvGAmI/s1600/domino+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxqVbTfYYZEsnspqSdXter__W82nTdZBSvMUxFHGAuizd3HC-8qbHY5UusriQSFCUk3LeWdxKR9wUasICYZ7lQiaGmeZCAJTkcr5fflrzsXDD_S2AfhjJwQw9O13kbEko_HMZqVOvGAmI/s320/domino+1.JPG" /></a></div>
Finally, I have a layout using the same product line and a little help from some Prima flowers. The background paper on this is really nice. Wood but not in a traditional color. Today I am sharing some more of the little dividers I made for my SNAP journal. This one has a sewing theme. The first one is using the Tim Holtz die shaped like a mannequin. The little ruler is from Maya Road. I used a piece of an old pattern I had and aged that with some distress ink. Then I added some tulle and ribbon for some more dimension. You can't really see it but I added some sparkle to the tulle. I added some "faux sewing" using a black glaze pen and then the little scissors also from Maya road. They were sprayed with silver glimmer mist from Tattered angels. The top is a Martha Stewart border punch and I added some liquid pearls along the bottom for a little extra bling. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnd523y373ObCCP1vlQ6CfHnCioqxuvLS2j7S7YoLHx6v5bb0INoSB7e0fPShYLe4jPtSfAaLLV75B3SpKpG-W810vzgfEjt_fhYMXs97WmLKqig_53KMwbSUOaKDY-VK-ysZ5UoZorZU/s1600/IMG_0221.JPG" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnd523y373ObCCP1vlQ6CfHnCioqxuvLS2j7S7YoLHx6v5bb0INoSB7e0fPShYLe4jPtSfAaLLV75B3SpKpG-W810vzgfEjt_fhYMXs97WmLKqig_53KMwbSUOaKDY-VK-ysZ5UoZorZU/s320/IMG_0221.JPG" /></a>
The second one I did uses some of the paper from a Melody Ross collection. I love her retro style and these ladies were great for my divider. And the saying goes perfectly with my personality...because when I'm in creative mode it never seems to be very tidy! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV6OmCWqeSaMN-K1BFSB1T0s0xbCrOy19AsXOBwU41U2avv-rhCoTNos6KdMiyfAhFDdAo_mtMKJ2FqopzB0miq25fiYbFF_TJCVlcY8C6o83oJ4XgKCX4TjdDMC1-KKb3amat0HtmOUc/s1600/IMG_0222.JPG" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV6OmCWqeSaMN-K1BFSB1T0s0xbCrOy19AsXOBwU41U2avv-rhCoTNos6KdMiyfAhFDdAo_mtMKJ2FqopzB0miq25fiYbFF_TJCVlcY8C6o83oJ4XgKCX4TjdDMC1-KKb3amat0HtmOUc/s320/IMG_0222.JPG" /></a>
I really didn't do much to this page except layer the elements from the papers.
I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend.
Happy Stamping!

I myself, did a little cyber shopping but managed to keep the budget under control.
As I said earlier in the week I've been working on these dividers for my SNAP journal. here are two more. The first one is a garden theme featuring Tim Holtz dies <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoH7vp-amEhe9GGRMdX1Fq6Yd0LjKqI96vOkeh9Of4zyNv21qCYKb_h1tuaCchsZmwYr9wubIOzj-7h_g04juuVguAjTFCtG5BBtEEj9hJaiTeIVCbxIsBOL8zpomwg5hjhqnSL1O1CXQ/s1600/IMG_0213.JPG" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoH7vp-amEhe9GGRMdX1Fq6Yd0LjKqI96vOkeh9Of4zyNv21qCYKb_h1tuaCchsZmwYr9wubIOzj-7h_g04juuVguAjTFCtG5BBtEEj9hJaiTeIVCbxIsBOL8zpomwg5hjhqnSL1O1CXQ/s320/IMG_0213.JPG" /></a>, some images that I had in my stash of embellishments and of course some flowers. It's hard to see in here but the background paper is from an old seed catalog that I bought in a Thrift Store. The date of the catalog is in the 30's and I also have one from the 40's and 50's. There is also a piece of burlap on there and the bird is stamped with a text stamp (also from Tim Holtz) with paint.
The other page is an Asian theme. I love Asian things as my dream has always been to visit that side of the world. Years ago I participated in some Yahoo Groups and we did some swaps and all of these things (except the stamp) were from those Swaps. The Background paper is from Webster's pages ( I think). All of the things I used on these dividers were in by boxes of stuff I held onto for one reason or another.

I hope you enjoy them. Have a great weekend!

Today I am sharing some of the dividers that I made for my Snap Journal. I needed something I could keep a calendar in and sketch if I need to and also keeps some lists.... The dividers were originally just plain chipboard. They are not from the Snap line of products they are actually from Bo Bunny's Misc Me collection. But I just punched new holes and they worked fine.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghPsVtGkbkdubbSrBBVeuUUYginC8M4lqvC3_qX3CbKGA9UGzIT6JJ2abQkNT2qtXgsm8okzAEK8T6giNdNjV62Q8Ts0RgZKeJ_m6Ox4rACGDWMYdzkyqBybMFobxOpRFD52E_QzTVncY/s1600/IMG_0219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghPsVtGkbkdubbSrBBVeuUUYginC8M4lqvC3_qX3CbKGA9UGzIT6JJ2abQkNT2qtXgsm8okzAEK8T6giNdNjV62Q8Ts0RgZKeJ_m6Ox4rACGDWMYdzkyqBybMFobxOpRFD52E_QzTVncY/s320/IMG_0219.JPG" /></a></div>
This first one is for the portion of the book that I will use for my calendar. I took a bunch of stuff from my scrap bin and added some bits and pieces and Viola!
The second one is themed. I chose a theme for some of the others and this one is Paris. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzspEqQKsXFXf7cm-9cxxuGMcxWZiYVtcBf4JYHLBtd2HUv9IIkgvZ5o6R00CHBf9FyQPx39YOp8gJh7Y1DI_OD3G73MnMpsT94E5l_h_avZx3grPogqnoWc9AXhsfmPXoLOF39b8aB3s/s1600/IMG_0218.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzspEqQKsXFXf7cm-9cxxuGMcxWZiYVtcBf4JYHLBtd2HUv9IIkgvZ5o6R00CHBf9FyQPx39YOp8gJh7Y1DI_OD3G73MnMpsT94E5l_h_avZx3grPogqnoWc9AXhsfmPXoLOF39b8aB3s/s320/IMG_0218.JPG" /></a></div>
Finally, for those of you that know me-- I always have to have a bunch of "bits" on hand that I've collected. It may be a picture I found, an image I stamped too many of, left over chipboard pieces from a package etc. I used to keep them in a cigar box. But I have outgrown the cigar box. So I needed something else to use. I bought a tablet last year and the box was really nice and sturdy. I had kept it so that if I had to return it I could. So I pulled out the box, covered it with some paper that I had from an Art Supply store and added a little ribbon to the edges to cover where the paper didn't quite meet. Then I used some of the Graphic 45 Bohemia Collection to do the "wings" of the box. I didn't decorate the top or anything because the paper is really quite pretty and I wanted to be able to stack it or put it in a bag if I wanted without worrying about knocking off the decorations. So here it is: <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdOVPeYURLrGNTzVeOgN8iTYI-qP-C4xMPewzk6Iz1KdZY6h5q9TQrkE9MZACDJTMUFEh1pDFiWXKS5Ltcj0RGTbkbzmtRrdVyqk1nQQBdGbceS6cQlmUHrO9b6lWXrCDL2TRTEWtec0o/s1600/IMG_0208.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdOVPeYURLrGNTzVeOgN8iTYI-qP-C4xMPewzk6Iz1KdZY6h5q9TQrkE9MZACDJTMUFEh1pDFiWXKS5Ltcj0RGTbkbzmtRrdVyqk1nQQBdGbceS6cQlmUHrO9b6lWXrCDL2TRTEWtec0o/s320/IMG_0208.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgviTd_BendEvvud1ooiAdAOLz8A4KNI1MmQz2Uxd9mE_MBicOgjD0N8TvNS3HHS6BIkPDabJSeIMnJAioikJLqV1ipDCiKORpLVk_gGHtDR_M9TNyjGwrhUnjg_4CIVWAWm8PLeIWmu6E/s1600/IMG_0210.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgviTd_BendEvvud1ooiAdAOLz8A4KNI1MmQz2Uxd9mE_MBicOgjD0N8TvNS3HHS6BIkPDabJSeIMnJAioikJLqV1ipDCiKORpLVk_gGHtDR_M9TNyjGwrhUnjg_4CIVWAWm8PLeIWmu6E/s320/IMG_0210.JPG" /></a></div>
I am so thankful that I have a space to create my little pieces of Art and for each of my creative friends. I hope all of you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. I'll share more of the dividers over the weekend.

But I have a new one and now that I have sort of figured out how to work it, I can post again.
The good news is that I have a few things to post. First, down to business. I am teaching a couple of classes. There is a mailbox and card class at Busy Scrappin' on Dec 5th, that is a Thursday. Immediately following that class I am doing a vintage Christmas card class also at Busy Scrappin'. You can call them to sign up NLT 3 Dec. The two classes got pushed together because of the inclement weather last week and this week being Thanksgiving. I hope to see you three.
The pictures of both are here.

Tomorrow, I'll share pictures of a class Saturday morning at 10:30 at Scrappin' Studio in Gretna. These cards use a flip it die...so cute.
And finally, stay tuned this week. If you haven't seen me in a bit. I've been in sort of a creative "funk". So I had to step back for a minute. I actually turned the lights off in the craft room and didn't go in there. Then when I came back I just played and made things for me. I think I have the juices flowing again. I've been creating some mini art pieces I can't wait to share.
And finally, do you know someone that would enjoy following this blog? Please pass the link along.
Happy stamping!!!
