A Little Taste of Springtime with Tim Holtz watering can

Hello Everyone! Sorry that I am a little late with this post. My card reader went belly up and I just didn't have time to get another one. Anyway, I hope that you are enjoying spring wherever you are- we had a little break from the winter of the Midwest and I actually had the windows open yesterday. I just hope we don't get another freeze and kill the tulips that are starting to pop up in the garden. Today I'm sharing a card I made using the new BoBunny Secret Garden collection. I also used the Tim Holtz watering can. I layered the papers which I inked with Seedless Grapes Distress ink and then I cut out the can. The silver part of the can was done with the Ranger Foil paper which has adhesive on the back of it. Then I ran it through my Cuttlebug with a dotted embossing folder. The flowers are made using Tim Holtz tattered flowers die(#66027). This die is very different because you actually quill the flowers together. The quilling tool comes with the die and it makes a bunch of different sizes. They are a lot of fun to make. Then I added some sprigs of leaves from a Martha Stewart punch. I did notice that Tim Holtz had recently released a punch that is very similar and I believe McGill has one too. Then I cut the words using the Sizzix Thinlits set (#660223)also from the Tim Holtz Alterations collection. I have to say that if you like die cut words for cards these are the perfect size and you get 13 words with the set! Very versatile and it won't be one of those dies that just sits in your stash waiting to be rescued. Finally, I layered the words onto a label that had been run through the Minc Machine so I could get some shine to match the piece on the can. I think the label is from Heidi Swapp, but I can't be sure. I hope you enjoy this little card. It is on it's way to a friend of mine overseas. Enjoy the springtime temperatures and Happy Stamping Pamela!
