Graphic 45 Cards

Happy Saturday! Today I'm sharing the last of the two cards that I made using the Spellbinder's Dies from my December Kit. I used the same layout as the inspiration that came with the kit. I just changed the embellishments and papers. These dies cut so nicely for small dies. The first one uses the Home Sweet Home Collection from a 6X6 paper pad. I added a Prima Leaf, a Prima Butterfly and a Prima jeweled embellishment as well. The green cardstock embellishment behind the jewels was also one of the Spellbinder dies. I layered the papers from Graphic 45 and again, I used one of the little panels from the paper kit as well. It says "Dear Friend" , I plan to put a Happy Birthday sentiment on the inside.
The second card was done using the French Country Collection also from Graphic 45. Instead of ribbon I used a strip of the border paper and used the flourish from Spellbinders and a panel from the 6X6 paper package. It says Good Luck in French. It seems someone is always retiring or leaving at work and I'm caught without a card; so I'll hold on to this one so I'm not putting together a card at the last minute.
Happy Stamping! Pamela

Tim Holtz Wallflowers Card

Hello Stamping Friends! There is actually very little stamping on this card. Inspired by the layout of my last card, I took the papers from the Tim Holtz Wallflower collection (12X12) and cut a small panel that had the bird and flower on it. Then added a panel of the green pattern. I inked both layers with Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Then I punched a tag (from Spellbinders) from another pattern and then stamped Hello Friend on a piece of cardstock that I had inked with Crushed Olive Distress Ink. The stamp is from the Simple Sayings pack. I added a flourish, one of Tim's metal flowers and some ribbon that I had misted with Fossilized Amber spray. The red cardstock was embossed with a Tim Holtz folder and then distressed with sand paper. I think the cardstock is Fired Brick distress cardstock. This simple layout made the card easy but I think it looks great. Have a great weekend! Pamela

Spellbinders December Kit

Keeping with the theme for this month; I'm again using some of the items I've collected. I love kits. I like the inspiration, trying new products, and having everything at my fingertips. The Spellbinders kits do not disappoint. You get the cards, envelopes, very high quality cardstock, adhesive (yes, I said adhesive!) embellishments, stamps and this kit came with 7 dies. The white card below is the one that I did first after the one on the idea card included in the kit. I decided to use one of my Anna Griffin embossing folders to emboss the white and a Stampin'UP! Stamp on the tag. I added a Prima flower. The flourish and tag were two of the dies included. The ribbon and leaf were leftover embellishments from the kits as well. I liked the simple layout so I replicated that on three other cards I'll post soon. I have to say, this was a generous kit. The dies are exclusive to the club. Happy Stamping! Pamela

Happy 2016! I hope this finds everyone well. Ready for some new resolutions? I have decided to get busy again using my "collection" of items, including kits, and quit allowing them to collect dust. I'm starting off this year with a kit I received from LaLaLand Crafts. These kits are great! Depending on which option you choose you get stamps, dies and the items to complete projects. I hope you will join me this year and dust off some of your "collection" and put them to good use!

Day 2 of CHA

Hello Stamping Friends, Today was a say of inspiration, admiration and exhaustion here at CHA. The day flew by! We visited a lot of great booths today...and I think we picked some great products to take back to the store in Gretna. I wanted to share a link to a designer from Prima today. She is a big inspiration to me. I hope that the new mixed media club at Scrappin Studio will be successful and if it is then she is a big part of the inspiration going into the class samples. You can view her blog here: www.tworzysko.blogspot.com. Stay tuned for more Prima goodies and inspiration from CHA. Sorry I could not post my pictures..but my camera gave out right in the middle of the day! Happy Stamping! Pamela

Hey Happy New Year!. Today, I am truly blessed to be in sunny California for the annual Craft and Hobby Association Convention. Sooooooo inspiring! Today I took a class from the fabulous Dina Wakely. I'm sharing a picture of a page of the mixed media journal that we created. I'll be starting a mixed media club at the Stampin'Studio in Gretna Nebraska. Make sure you like them on Facebook! Here is a photo of the page, I can't wait to experiment more with the paints and tools we got in the class and post those as well. Happy creating! Pamela

Fancy Pants Projects

Hello, Well I think I have the blog issue resolved. I had to take down all of the Feb posts, so I apologize. Here are some things that I did with some Fancy Pants Products recently. A cute little card box made out of corrugated paper that has 5 cards
Next I have the photos of the cards for inside the box. I tried to make them a little generic so that you can give them to a boy or girl. These all use the Fancy Pants collection called Collecting Memories, a Stamp set from Jillibean soup, a die from Memory Box and a wood embellishment from Studio Calico.
Finally, I have a layout using the same product line and a little help from some Prima flowers. The background paper on this is really nice. Wood but not in a traditional color. I also made a little video so you can see the products up close. I hope you enjoy it all!
